Who We Are
Priority Healthcare Services Ltd is a dedicated supported living provider based in the heart of Greater Manchester, specialising in supporting adults aged 18 and over who are living with mental health conditions. We exist to provide more than just a roof over someone’s head — we provide stability, purpose, compassionate human connection and a genuine pathway toward independent living.
Founded and led by a management team with over 30 years of combined experience across NHS mental health services, supported living, special needs education and social care, Priority Healthcare brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and real-world expertise to every placement we manage. We understand the complexity of mental health — not just in theory, but through decades of frontline practice.
As a non-CQC regulated service, we operate outside the scope of personal and nursing care — focusing instead on social, emotional and practical support that helps adults build confidence, develop skills, and reconnect with the communities around them. Our support is structured, consistent, and always co-produced with the service user at the centre.
We work in close partnership with NHS Trusts, Community Mental Health Teams, local authority commissioners, housing associations and third sector organisations across Greater Manchester — ensuring every service user benefits from a joined-up network of care that goes beyond what any single organisation can provide alone.
Dignity & Respect
Every person we support is treated as a unique individual. Their voice, their choices and their lived experience sit at the centre of everything we do.
Empowerment
We invest in building real confidence, practical skills and personal resilience — equipping service users for long-term independence, not long-term dependency.
Community Connection
Isolation is one of the greatest barriers to recovery. We actively connect service users to the rich social, cultural and civic life of Greater Manchester.
Holistic Understanding
We see the whole person — not just their diagnosis. Our approach addresses mental, emotional, practical and social needs in an integrated, joined-up way.
Partnership & Collaboration
We work hand-in-hand with families, commissioners, health professionals and housing providers to deliver truly coordinated, person-first support.
Safeguarding Always
The safety, rights and wellbeing of every service user is our absolute, non-negotiable priority — underpinning every policy, decision and interaction.
About Our Regulatory Status
Our supported living service is non-regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This means we provide social, emotional and practical support to help adults with mental health needs live independently in the community — we do not provide personal care or nursing care which fall under CQC regulation. Our staff are trained, DBS-checked, and committed to best practice standards, working closely with regulated health and social care providers to ensure a joined-up approach to each service user’s wellbeing.
